The city of Ontario officially has a new treasurer.
Shannon Wiese was sworn-in this month and will take over in a part-time role for Jim Hairston, who retired.
Wiese, according to RichlandSource.com, has lived in Richland County for two years, after she moved from Wisconsin. She has a degree from Oklahoma State University in hotel and restaurant management.
