A 43 year old Wooster man was arrested after stealing a Richland County Sheriff vehicle on Crider road, shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
The Sheriff’s department said, Author Cook was taken into custody near State Route 545 and Crall road, following a 30 minute pursuit.
Cook, stole a Richland County Sheriff’s vehicle, which was parked when local authorities were helping search an area, after a pursuit by the highway patrol into Richland County.
The Sheriff’s department said, two cruisers sustained only minor damage. Cook was also wanted on warrant.
