A crowd of around 160 people gathered at the Der Dutchman Restaurant on Monday (Feb 13th) to hear broadcasters Matt Underwood, Jim Rosenhaus and Bob Dibiasio from the Cleveland Guardians preview the upcoming season.
.The event was organized by the Kiwanis Club of Mansfield with help from WMAN, which raised around $2,000 dollars for the Friendly House in Mansfield. The group was treated to a great meal at Der Dutchman and lots of giveaways from Guardians t-shirts to bobbleheads and jersey's.
The Guardians, last year the youngest team in MLB, not only surprised everybody by winning the division, but was one win shy of the ALCS. Pitchers and catchers report this week for Cleveland.
