A 57 year old woman from Wooster died in a crash in Ashland County.
The highway patrol says the accident took place on US 30 at County Road 2175, when Gale Stauffer attempted to turn left onto County Road 2175, but failed to yield and was struck by a semi driven by a 40 year old man from Mansfield. Stauffer was pronounced dead at University Hospital Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland. The man from Mansfield was treated at the scene. The roadway was partially closed for 90 minutes.
