In Ashland, the Claremont Avenue Bridge replacement project is complete and that stretch of road is now back open. Mayor Matt Miller officially opened the new bridge following the city council meeting on Tuesday. The 100 year old bridge needed to be replaced and caused the roadway to be closed for more than 162 days. The project in total cost $1.6 million.
