The Richland County Commissioners this week agreed to continue to take part in the Ohio County Employee Benefit Consortium.
RichlandSource.com reports, Richland County is one of 43 counties that are enrolled in the pooled health insurance program, which helps reduce costs and keep them on a consistent level.
Rates are expected to rise just under 7% next year, which will see around $250,000 more come out of the General fund, according to Commissioner Tony Vero.
