Richland County employees could see a rise in health insurance costs next year.
RichlandSource.com reports, the Commissioners are expected to be notified on Friday for rates for 2023. There are more than 540 Richland County Employees enrolled in the plan, which when you include family members totals nearly 1,200 people.
Commissioner Tony Vero feels the increase will be around $400,000 to the general fund and is looking to see if they can use some American Rescue Plan dollars for medical costs related to COVID-19.
