Work to install the first roundabout in Ashland is underway, according to RichlandSource.com.
The new traffic pattern will be located at the intersection of Cottage Street, U.S. 250 and Faultless Drive. The cost will be around $2.2 million , but thanks to ODOT funds and grants, there will be no cost to Ashland for the project. Safety concerns and the number of crashes at that intersection led ODOT officials to seek a roundabout in that area, which is projected to be complete in September.
