A Mansfield man has been charged with aggravated arson for allegedly setting his own house on fire.
RichlandSource.com reports, Chad Cook, 51, was arrested earlier this month after an investigation by the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office. Detectives found that Cook, in April, set the fire to the home on Timbercliff Dr. while his 23 year old stepdaughter was inside. She called 9-1-1 after she heard popping and cracking noises in the downstairs area.
