A Crawford County native was named the winner in the Outstanding Teen Competition on Wednesday night at the Renaissance Theatre in downtown Mansfield.
RichlandSource.com reports, Cassandra Kurek of Bucyrus sang her way to the crown and earned better than $2,700 in scholarship money. Kurek will now take part in the Miss America Outstanding Teen Pageant in August.
Friday night is the 2nd and final night of the Miss Ohio prelims at the Ren. The new Miss Ohio will be announced on Saturday.
