The Mansfield City Schools, City of Mansfield and the YMCA of North Central Ohio, have all came together on a plan for two free dates for the public to swim at the pool inside of the Malabar Intermediate School.
The reason because Mansfield no longer has a public pool in operation since Liberty Park closed its pool for good last year due to costly repairs, according to RichlandSource.com.
Free swimming will be open at Malabar on June 18th and 25th from noon till 4 pm – with the possibility of adding more dates this summer.
