An 18 year old man from Reynoldsburg has been arrested after a vehicle was stolen from an Ashland Car lot, which led to a high speed case.
The highway patrol said they were notified by Ashland Police of a breaking and entering at Bill Harris in Ashland, where troopers saw the stolen vehicle around 3:30 am on I-71 traveling at a high rate of speed. The one car, a dodge challenger, was clocked at over 100 MPH, while the other was a Jeep, which crashed in Delaware County. DeAnthony Harris was taken into custody and is currently in the Richland County jail.
The Ashland PD is handling the investigation of the car theft, while the highway patrol is handing the recovery of the stolen vehicle.
