Two grants will allow for more body cameras for the Mansfield Police Department. City Council recently accepting grants at their meeting, which totaled just over $188,000 from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services for 46 cameras.
There is also funding for a position, which is needed to edit body camera video. The hope to have the new body cameras delivered by sometime this summer.
