Work gets underway today on the Roundabout project in Mansfield at the intersection of Cook/Illinois and Mansfield-Lucas Road.
The intersection will remain open to traffic while the storm sewer/drainage and grading work is done – however, note that the intersection and approach roadways will closed beginning on May 31st and remain closed for 75 days. RichlandSource.com reports, the cost is $1.3 million dollars with 90% of that covered by an ODOT grant. The work needs to be finished this summer before school is back in session.
