The Richland County Sheriff’s Office is in need of corrections officers.
Major Joe Masi told RichlandSource.com, they need to fill 20 positions in their jail staff, which at full capacity is around 75 people. The County Commissioners have approved just shy of $10,000 dollars to put up billboards in spots in the county to recruit officers. Masi, also thanked the Commissioners for increasing the starting wage for the jobs.
