A Mansfield man was killed in a hit skip accident in Ashland County.
The highway patrol says it happened late Tuesday night just after 11 o’clock on U.S. 42, when 63 year old Mark Ramsey of Mansfield was standing next to his disabled vehicle and was struck by a passing vehicle in the northbound lane.
Ramsey was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The vehicle that struck him is believed to be a silver Dodge truck and will likely have some damage from the accident.
