A Galion teen died and 3 others were injured in one vehicle accident near Lima. The highway patrol said the accident happened just after 6 am on Interstate 75.
A 17 year old Galion male, who was the front passenger in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 15 year old male from Galion, was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The two passengers in the back seat, a 19 and 20 year old from Galion, were also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The report from the patrol says seat belts were not in use and the vehicle went off the road, struck a culvert and overturned. The incident remains under investigation.
