Work is officially underway on the Mansfield West End Neighborhood Plan.
According to RichlandSource.com, the idea has been talked about for a few years, will now see phase 1 improvements along Glessner Ave. Those will include upgrades to sidewalks, crosswalks, curbs and new street lights.
Most of the $1 million cost is being paid for through Community Development Block Grant Funds. Phase 1 expected to be complete sometime this summer. A portion of Glessner Ave will be closed due to the project for roughly the next 40 days.
