Conversations are taking place in Bellville between village officials and board members of the Clear Fork Youth League, which coordinates tee ball, along with baseball and softball.
RichlandSource.com reports, the league, which has taken care of the maintenance of the fields on Hines Avenue, is hoping to get some help from the village. The 5 year contract expired last year and upkeep on the fields have been difficult due to their age. Games have been played there for over 50 years.
The league has been getting donations and volunteers to help, as around 300 kids will begin practice at the fields next month.
