In Ashland, City Council this week giving the go ahead for the mayor and other officials to take bids for the repaving work on Claremont Avenue between Baney Road and Smith Road.
The cost is expected to be just north of $3.5 million. RichlandSource.com reports, the work is expected to take place this summer. A good portion of the cost will be paid for by grants.
