The Richland County Commissioners have approved an increase in pay for employees of the county’s Clerk of Courts Union.
According to RichlandSource.com, this comes after Richland County Clerk of Courts Linda Frary told the Commissioners the county wages were not competitive and she was losing staff over it. All 3 Commissioners agreed to boost wages 13% to $15 per hour, beginning on March 17. Frary saying she lost 6 of her 20 union employees since September.
