In Ashland, Brookside Golf Course financially had a good year in 2021 with close to a $100,000 dollar in profits. RichlandSource.com reports, this is welcomed news after there was talk about closing the course in 2017 and just a year later was in the red by $170,000 dollars. The Friends of Brookside Golf Course last year raised a record of more than $72,000 dollars. Plans this year are to open in March or April.
