iHeartRADIO Ashland/Mansfield wrapped up it’s iHeartRADIO for the homeless campaign in November and by inspiration of the campaign, two local non-profits in Richland County will each receive a $5,000 donation from the Mansfield Meijer store through its Meijer Team Gives fall donation program. This years $5,000 recipients are Harmony House and Stronger by choice. They are just two of an estimated 500 nonprofits to receive a surprise donation after being selected by a diverse panel of Meijer team members. The first-ever Meijer Team Gives event will donate an estimated $3 million to nonprofits, such as those identified by local Meijer team members in their communities across the Midwest. Store Regional Administrative assistant Jen Davis said, “With all the challenges of this past year we were inspired by your campaign and wanted to help the homeless and displaced in Richland and Ashland counties” and is the reason she chose the two benefactors for the $5,000 donations.
