The Richland County Commissioners on Tuesday approved a 3 year contract with the union that represents the Richland County Sheriff's deputies.
According to RichlandSource.com, the deal with the 27 deputies for a 5% pay increase, followed by 3% each of the next two years. The contract, which Sheriff Steve Sheldon said he is very happy with, takes effect on January 1st and runs through 2024.
