There are currently talks going on about the possibility of hiring a Richland County Environmental Enforcement officer.
RichlandSource.com reports, Eddie Hale, director of the Richland County Solid Waste Management Authority said he plans to visit with officials in the county to see what they think about the position., which would help against illegal dumping. The city of Mansfield is hoping an officer is hired following illegal dumping around town.
