The Mansfield Police Department will be purchasing 24 additional body cameras thanks to some state funding.
RichlandSource.com reports, the Mansfield PD will be receiving 24 more body cameras, which will give them a total of 40.
The cost is just over $43,000 and will be paid for through the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services.
Mansfield was one of 140 agencies statewide to receive grant money and officers will begin training on how to use them in the next few weeks.
