The Ashland County Board of Elections says that two races earlier this month were so close that there will automatically be a recount.
Two candidates for Perrysville Village Council saw 3 votes separate Steve Goines and Bob Zakutni and in Sullivan Township the two candidates were only separated by 1 vote between Tab Bloom and Glenn Goff.
The recount will be held Tuesday ( today) at 4:30 pm.
