Mansfield is planning to pave just over 26 miles of city streets next year, which has a price tag of just over $5 million.
RichlandSource.com reports, Mansfield Engineer Bob Bianchi is excited about the plan that he shared with city council this week. They will vote on the plan December 7th.
A majority of the cost will be covered by Mansfield’s 0.25% pothole haters tax, which generates $3.7 million a year. Bianchi said the average life span of a street is between 9 and 11 years.
