The Ashland County Health Department is now offering an incentive to get vaccinated.
RichlandSource.com reports, those who receive their 1st dose of a COVID-19 vaccine - will get a $50 gift card.
Health Commissioner Vickie Taylor said the funding for the program, which started last Friday, came through a grant from the Ohio Department of Health. The plan is for the incentive to run through the end of October, but could be extended. Currently, less than 40% of Ashland County residents are vaccinated against COVID-19.
