Due To COVID-19 - Madison Middle, High School Going To Remote Learning

A majority of students in the Madison local school district are moving to remotely learning beginning Thursday, Sept. 9th.

Superintendent Rob Peterson in a letter said that both Madison High School and Middle School will go to remote learning for a week due to an increase in COVID-19 illness and general illness, along with staffing issues in finding substitutes. The plan would for in-person learning to resume next Thursday, Sept. 16th.

Two other Richland County Schools, Crestview and Lexington are currently underway with two weeks of remote learning due to COVID-19 cases rising in their districts.
