Tickets for St. Peter’s AugustFest now on sale Featuring live music from Mansfield’s own Ohio Express
(MANSFIELD, OHIO - July 7, 2021) – St. Peter’s School announced this week that tickets are now on sale for St. Peter’s AugustFest, a night of fellowship, live music, and games for adults 21+. The event is on Saturday, August 7, from 4 – 9 p.m. at Spartan Fields.
AugustFest will feature live music from Mansfield’s own Ohio Express as the headline entertainment. Presale tickets are $10/per person, but attendees will receive ten food and beverage tickets for use during the event. Tickets at the door will be $15/per person with ten food and drink tickets.
In addition to the live music, AugustFest will feature several varieties of beer and wine, food, casino games, a cornhole tournament, and a closest to the pin contest. Proceeds from the event will go to support St. Peter’s School.
“We were working on introducing a new fundraising event for the school in 2020 before the pandemic hit,” said event chairperson Justin Berry. “Our committee was ready to go to get this event off the ground as soon as COVID-19 restrictions were lifted.”
Ohio Express formed in 1967, at the height of the bubblegum rock craze of the late 60s. Two of their singles, “Yummy Yummy Yummy” and “Chewy Chewy,” reached the top of the charts. Opening for The Ohio Express is Blue Universe, a bluegrass band. Live music is being presented by Hamilton Insurance Group.
