The Richland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in and robbery at a home on Piper road.
A man and woman said they woke up just before 6 am Tuesday to find 2 people in their home, who forced them to the ground and then attacked her husband. The man was taken to the hospital by Madison EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. Several items were stolen from the home during the break-in. The incident is under investigation.
