The village of Bellville and the Richland County Commissioners are teaming up to install a new Tornado siren at the southern end of the village.
According to RichlandSource.com, new housing developments are just outside of the limited of the siren located downtown in Bellville. The total cost for a new siren is $30,000 and it will take around $50 a month in electric to operate it. Commissioner Tony Vero calling it, an extra layer of protection, which is a good thing.
