Negotiations have yet to start in Ashland County, where 70 workers are on strike in the village of Hayesville.
Workers went on strike last week at Custom Hoists, who are represented by the United Steelworkers local and want higher wages, lower insurance costs and better working conditions.
According to RichlandSource.com, one of the workers said conditions in the shop were made clearer because of wearing masks during the pandemic.
