Only twice has the Mansfield area seen more than 2 inches of snow on April 21st or later, according to the National Weather Service.
Both times it came in the same year, which was over 100 years ago. It took place in 1901 on April 23 and April 25th.A total of more than 10 inches fell over that time period in the Mansfield area.
