The Mansfield Fire Department saw its calls increase just over 5% last year in 2020, compared to the previous year in 2019, that according to mayor Tim Theaker’s State of the City Address.
The Fire Department responded to more than 11,000 emergency calls, close to 2,000 fire related and more than 9,000 medical calls. The Mansfield Fire Department last year hired 7 new fire fighters.
