Richland Public Health Hoping 30% of County Vaccinated By End Of March

Richland Public Health says with more doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine being available they have been able to expand to vaccinate 12 people at once.

Reed Richmond with the health department says other area providers have been able to do the same thing. Richmond said the goal is be able to vaccinate at least 70% of the population to achieve herd immunity.

Richmond said right now 14% of Richland County has received the COVID-19 vaccine. They hope to get that number close to 30% by the end of March.
