The Mansfield City School District has a projected spending deficit of $3.3 million dollars for fiscal year 2021 and 2022, according to RichlandSource.com.
A 5 year forecast last fall showed a deficit this year of $1.2 million and next year of $2.1 million.
The Board of Education this week talked about possible staff cuts and passed a resolution to consider doing so because of the financial forecast.
