Shelby Athletic Director Pat Lewis told WMAN news on Thursday that all Shelby athletic activities are postponed until further notice after Richland County turned Purple on Thursday on the State Public Health Advisory map. Shelby was scheduled to play a big early season boys basketball game on Friday at home vs Ontario. No word on when it will be made up. Shelby like many other schools pausing sports due to severe spread of the coronavirus.
