A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect 1 am on Wednesday with 5 to 9 inches of snow possible. Be careful on your commute, use extra caution and allow yourself some extra time as we see our first snow fall, along with windy conditions.
RichlandSource.com reports, the city of Mansfield says it has a decent amount of salt on hand for the winter and has crews that will be working 12 hour shifts. Richland County Engineer Adam Gove says his department had been preparing for the snow, along with ODOT's district 3, which also says crews will continue to work as long as it's snowing.
The Highway Patrol reminds motorists to keep an emergency kit in their car, which includes a cell phone charger, shovel and blanket.
