Shelby's great season came to a end on Saturday, as Van Wert crushed the Whippets 49-7 in the Division IV Regional Championship Game at W.W. Skiles field. Cougars QB Owen Treece threw 5 TD passes as Van Wert moves (9-1) into the State Semi-Finals. Shelby finishes a fantastic year as Regional Runners-up with a record of 9-1.
