Ohio had just shy of 5,000 new cases of COVID-19 reported Thursday.
The 4,961 cases are the most in a 24 hour period since the pandemic started 8 months ago.
Every county in Ohio is now listed as a high incidence county. Richland remains in the Red for the 6th week in a row.
Ashland, Crawford and Morrow all are listed in the red this week on the State's public health advisory map. 56 of Ohio's 88 counties are in the red level 3, due to high spread and exposure of the virus. Governor Mike DeWine says 86% of Ohioans live in a red county.
Richland Public Health reports Richland County has had 359 new cases over the last two weeks alone.
