Richland County Small Businesses affected by the pandemic can begin apply for grants, after Mansfield City Council approved a contract with the Richland Area Chamber this week.
Council President Cliff Mears says the program will have $500,000 in grants from the Cares Act. City Council approved $275,000, along with the Richland County Commissioners. The program also has $50,000 from the Richland Area Chamber to help local businesses during COVID-19.
Applications, along with requirements are posted at RichlandAreaChamber.com. Businesses can apply through Sept 13th, with grants being announced on Sept. 28th.
