The city of Ashland is set to save close to $130,000 by switching insurance companies.
According to RichlandSource.com, City Council approved the reduce rate during a special meeting this week.
The new deal will cost just over $227,000 and needs to be signed by August 30th, which is when Ashland's current deal expires.
