Therm-O-Disc has informed it's employees at it's Mansfield plant, that it plans to phase out its manufacturing operations.
RichlandSource.com reports, the plan is to do so in the next 12 to 18 months. A Statement from the company said production would be transfer to another facility in North America and workforce adjustments would happen early in 2021.
There are roughly 250 employees which will be affected at the Mansfield plant, which makes bimetal controls, along with fabricated components and sensors.
Therm-O-Disc's corporate offices plan to remain in Mansfield, which opened up in Mansfield back in 1947.
