Front license plates will no longer be required on most vehicles registered in Ohio beginning on July 1st. Legislation passed in April of last year mandates vehicles have only a rear plate, excluding tractors. Some law enforcement agencies have argued against the new law, claiming it makes it harder for them to identify vehicles.
