Plan for Mansfield City Parks Estimated To Cost $29 million dollars

The plan for the Mansfield City Parks has a price tag of $29 million dollars, that according to RichlandSource.com. The draft of the plan from a Columbus bases company, shows a $8 million dollar aquatic facility at Liberty Park, $792,000 for new playground equipment at Sterkel Park and $150,000 for a Skatepark at Prospect Park.

Mansfield City Council has yet to dicuss the plans. Mayor Tim Theaker said his administration must work through COVID-19 issues before analyzing the plan for the parks.

Mansfield finance director Linn Steward told City council she is expected a 20% drop in revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic.
