Statement from Shelby mayor Steve Schag:
The Shelby City Health Department is currently monitoring the condition of three citizens who have tested positive for Covid-19 over the past four days. Two of the individuals work out of town at the same facility. They are quarantined at home. The third individual is retired and is being treated at Ohio Health Mansfield.
We are pleased to report our original case is now listed under the status of "Recovered".
Our Medical Director is strongly advising that citizens wear masks if they leave their homes for essential duties/activities. Please continue to follow all protocols of social distancing, sanitizing your surroundings often, and washing your hands frequently.
