Richland County Schools
School districts across Richland County have formulated methods of distributing meals to families impacted by school closures. Ontario, Shelby, Clear Fork, and Lexington already have announced the upcoming availability of sack lunches for either delivery or pick-up. Madison Superintendent John Thomas told RichlandSource.com his district's plan, along with that of Mansfield City, pends approval by the Ohio Department of Education.
Ashland County Schools
Ashland County families requiring free lunches during the upcoming remote-learning period will benefit from emergency donations by the Ashland County Community Foundation. According to Richland Source, funds to supply Ashland City children with free lunches during this time will be supplemented by ACCF, the Kroc Center, and Associated Charities to provide meals to children of nearby districts.
