As we approach the middle of March, the National Weather Service has released numbers, which show temperatures this winter well above average and snowfall, well below average in the Mansfield area. The National Weather Service says the average temperature this winter was 34 degrees, which is 7 degrees above the normal 27 degree average. Normal snowfall in Mansfield is roughly 35 inches, so far only 13 inches has fallen.
